Coming September The Patching Zone will be represented at the ISEA 2011 in Istanbul. The workshop proposal 'A weird/wonderful street fair' from Digital Art Lab is accepted for ISEA.

This workshop has a mobile peer teaching format. Our team members will go out on the streets of Istanbul with nothing more than a folding table and low tech tools. They will ask people to interact with do it yourself objects and instruments, thereby exchanging their knowledge to these people in a playful way and turning the public space into a classroom without boundaries.

Lars Kynde and Andreas Zingerle, two of our Big South Lab team members wrote a paper in collaboration with Anne Nigten about 'co-creation in the Big South Lab'. They are also invited to present their paper in Istanbul.
